Thanks for stopping by my page. I’ll tell you a bit about myself…
I’m deeply fascinated with personal finance, economics, investing, 401k fiduciary issues and new technology. The area in which all these areas intersect is what I aim to spend my professional time thinking about and working on.
In my 6 years here at Manarin I’ve been involved in a number of projects including the publication of Manarin On Money, as well as the development of content on this website.
Most recently I’ve been managing the relationships of our firm’s 401k clients as an ERISA 3(21) investment advisor partnered with a 3(38) investment manager. This has developed a passion for helping businesses create a conflict-free retirement plan and help their employees establish sound financial habits.
To aid in this process, I host a podcast called Talk 401k with Don Davidson where guest industry experts and I share 401k best practices for business owners and plan trustees.
But where did I come from?
I was born in Madison, WI but grew up in Harlan, IA. I attended the University of Iowa and then moved to Omaha with my wife Anne after a short stay in Chicago. Today home is outside Bennington, NE where we have 3 dogs and an infant son named Will.
These days I love exploring how to use the Web to create meaningful offline relationships and a customer-focus approach to business communication.
